Hey there! It’s me, Joc.
It’s been a good while since I’ve taken some time to actually stand IN FRONT OF a camera and have my photo taken.

I have to say, this quick mini session really did my heart some good. To be honest, I’m always trying to walk the tightrope of life, I haven’t really taken the time to get my hair LAID and put on something nice for once. To take this honesty a step further, stress has been wreaking havoc on my hair and my skin. I’ve been working for over a year to find a solution to my stress-induced dry skin and acne. It’s been especially hard because, as an African American woman, I can’t wash my hair EVERYDAY and have enough time to have it looking presentable before the morning workday begins. Let’s not even get started on the acne struggles.
For the past several months, I’ve found that the Shea Moisture Black Soap shampoo line, as well as Neutrogena’s facial scrub, have really worked wonders in my life. My friends are always telling me I need to update my photos, and finally, for the first time in a while, I felt confident enough to. I didn’t have to worry about it looking like Christmas in July or like my face was going to erupt in a wave of acne. I could just relax and be….Joc!
Thanks to Rashaad, I could take some time to enjoy being on the “client side” for once. If you’re a business owner like me (or a woman of color who’s super stressed and has a lot on her plate) I’ll post links below to the products that have helped me achieve this beautiful photo you see above!
Until next time,
Peace & Photos, Joc
